CRISIS IN HONDURAS
Honduras Anti-coup Protests on Day 7

Tegucigalpa - Honduras Popular Resistance Front on Saturday continues to protest the military coup that on Sunday ousted President Manuel Zelaya and drew worldwide condemnation.

Protests are taking place amid a tense climate worsened by the de facto government's refusal to obey a call from the Organization of American States to restore constitutional order in the Central American nation.

Former Chilean foreign minister and current OAS secretary general Jose Miguel Inzulsa on Friday ratified OAS condemnation of the military coup, and urged coup leaders to restore constitutional President Manuel Zelaya.

In turn, he said, the representatives of the de facto government handed in documents containing accusations against Zelaya, as some of their pretexts to justify the coup.

Asked about Zelaya's announced return on Sunday, Insulza made no comments and pointed out it Zelayas personal decision.
