Salvadorian Policemen in Haiti Peace Mission

San Salvador -  Five Salvadorian policemen will travel to Haiti as members of a peacekeeping mission next week, official sources said on Friday.

The officers are the first from the Civil National Police (PNC) of El Salvador to be sent to Haiti.

The PNC director Jose Luis Tobar told reporters the policemen will stay in Haiti for two years.

The mission includes one assistant inspector, two sergeants and two constables. They will travel separately to Haiti next week.
