Santiago - An earthquake
measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale shook
Argentina and Chile Sunday morning.
The tremor took place at 4:05 a.m. local
time (0805 GMT) with the epicenter in the
Argentine province of Mendoza, some 40 km
from the city of the same name in Chile and
150 kilometers east of Santiago, Chile's
capital.
The tremor did not causing serious damage or
casualty in Santiago and Chilean coastal
city Valparaiso, the country's National
Emergency Office said.
