FMs Meet To Enhance Ties

Foreign Minister Nicolas
Maduro and his Colombian
counterpart Jaime
Bermudez met on Friday
for the first time after
the presidents from both
countries agreed to end
months of diplomatic
conflicts.
At the meeting, Maduro
and Bermudez agreed to
strengthen bilateral
economic and political
ties and maintain a
close and permanent
level of bilateral
dialogues.
Maduro said that it is
important to enhance
relations with Colombia,
because today the world
faces an economic crisis
which creates
uncertainty for all the
countries of the South.
