Bolivia
La Paz - Bolivian
President Evo Morales
was backed by the
international community
this week in the United
States, in support of
his intention to refound
his nation.
Both, in the United
Nations and in the
Organization of American
States, Morales put
forward the situation in
his country and the
implicit progress in the
new Constitution, which
will be subject to
referendum on January
25.
The Bolivian leader
requested support to
introduce the
Constitution and
proposed regional and
global mechanisms to
fight drug trafficking,
distant from US
political manipulation,
he said.
His proposals stirred up
interest, and he was
also congratulated for
his role in the recent
internal crisis in
Bolivia, all of which

fruitful his stay in New
York and Washington,
