Be Wary Of Prize Win
If the deal is too good
to be true, it probably
is not. Judicial
authorities are warning
of calls on your
cellular telephone
offering all types of
prizes.
Authorities say that the
calls come usually from
"numero privados"
(numbers blocked from
the called ID) by
persons unknown who ask
that an amount of money
is deposited to a bank
account to be able to
collect the "prize".
Typically the call is
announce the winning of
a promotion by a
cellular company. The
caller asks for the
deposit to be made and
than can direct
themselves to a location
to claim their prize,
only to find that the
location may not exist
or not know or have
anything to do with the
