Brazil, Nicaragua Cooperate in Food
The Brazilian government will boost several unconditional development projects in Nicaragua, Brazilian ambassador Jose Luis Velasquez Pereira stated Thursday.

The Brazilian authorities' collaboration is aimed at agriculture, energy, housing and health, the diplomat told Multinoticias channel.

The country mentions three projects with the Nicaraguan Institute of Agricultural Technology aimed at improving the productive chain of yucca, vegetable seeds and the production of seeds for feed.

Velazquez stressed that, unlike northern countries' cooperation, they do not impose conditions to implement those plans, which are included within relations of solidarity among Latin Americans.

Those accords were inked after the visit of a Brazilian mission to Managua, focused on social development.

According to Nicaraguan Agriculture and Forest Minister Ariel Bucardo, those agreements are moving rapidly to support the production of food.
