Ecuador Thanks Argentina For Representation During Diplomatic Row With Colombia
The Ecuadorian government thanked Argentina Monday for representing it in Colombia's capital Bogota during the breakdown of diplomatic relationship between Ecuador and Colombia.

The government was thankful to Argentina and its President Cristina Fernandez for the attention given to the interests of Ecuador through its embassy in Bogota during the time relationship between Ecuador and Colombia were interrupted, Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry stated.

Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa accepted last Friday the immediate reestablishment of diplomatic relations with Colombia at business manager level.

Ecuador has been represented by Argentina through its embassy in Bogota since March 3 when Quito severed diplomatic ties with Colombia for its incursion against an Ecuador-based Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia camp by Colombian government troops.
