Cellular Network Maintenance Operations Could Cut Service Temporarily
Hello? Hello? Anybody there? That could be the result of your cellular call at night between 9:00pm and midnight as the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) performs maintenance work on its cellular network.

Elberth Durán, a spokesperson for ICE, said that the maintenance work is being carried out during the evening hours where there is low traffic and the system will be shut down temporarily to change parts. The shutdown is not system wide, however, it is localised.

Maintenance work is being carried out on all radio base towers around the country and will continue until May 2.
