Nicaraguan President to
Belize Summits
Nicaraguan President
Daniel Ortega went
directly from Mexico
Friday to San Pedro,
Belize to attend two sub
regional summits.
Nicaraguan government
sources told the media
that Ortega is attending
the 30th Summit of Heads
of States and Government
of the Central American
Integration System.
Among the topics on the
agenda are the free
trade agreement with
Europe and security and
energy development.
This afternoon, Ortega
will also attend the
ninth meeting of the
Mechanism of Dialogue
and Agreement of Tuxtla,
which President Calderon
will also attend.
Debates will cover
migration, energy,
Mexico-Central America
free trade agreements,
Plan Puebla Panama
