Movies
like Shrek the Third that just opened in San
José theatres Friday and like others recent
releases are all available on the streets of San
José in their "pirated" version, at a fraction
of the cost of the original DVD and less than
the cost of admittance to the theatre.

A rumour may be confirmed today that the
ministro de Relaciones Exteriores (Foreign
Minister), Bruno Stagno, may hand in his
resignation today to president Oscar Arias.

Turtles are Coming!
The time of the turtle in Costa Rica is nearly
here. This year will see over 200,000 turtles
coming to lay their eggs on a 200 mile stretch
of Caribbean Beaches from the Southern borders
with Panama to the Northern borders in
Nicaragua.

Panama's presidential plane with President
Martin Torrijos, his wife and two cabinet
ministers on board, made an emergency landing
Friday in San José.

Three children live a miracle by surviving when
a mini van carrying four tourists slammed into a
house when its brakes failed in the area known
as Bajo de los Rodríguez en San Ramón, where the
road has a steep hill.
