Summertime
Cubans are plunged into
a summer that with
traditional warm
temperatures allows them
to enjoy several
entertainment
alternatives.
Among those are the
country's pleasant
beaches, performances of
outstanding artists and
musical groups,
exhibitions, sales of
books, theater and a new
edition of the Havana
carnival with a colorful
parade of floats.
Also on the list is the
implementation for the
first time of a 24-hour
TV programming for those
who prefer to be at home
during this period, as
well as the extensive
sports agenda, including
the Pan-American Games
