Wife Found Innocent For Stabbing Husband

Wife Found Innocent For Stabbing Husband
A Goicoechea court found a woman identified by her last name López Zapata not guilty of killing her husband, who was stabbed to death after a drunken argument.

The court heard testimony of how the couple, under the influence of alcohol, argued when the man spend all his money in the bar they were drinking.

When the couple got home, the man demanded that the woman give him the money she had stashed away so that he could go out to buy more "guaro".

The woman refused.

In an angry state, the man began to beat the woman, when she grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him six times. The incident occurred last August 13th.

The court absolved the woman and found her innocent as she had acted, though under the influence of alcohol, in her self defense.
