Argentina Deflates US
Sabotage
The two chambers of the
Argentina Congress
passed a resolution
rejecting what they
called a disastrous
US-encouraged operation
against the government
of Argentina, it was
revealed Thursday.
The document, approved
last night by wide
majority, sustains
Washington's actions are
an intelligence
operation to harm the
reputation of President
Cristina Fernandez.
It also demands the
extradition of
Venezuelan-US citizen
Guido Antonini Wilson,
who tried to illegally
enter a briefcase with
800,000 dollars into
Argentina in August.
The text rejects stories
from Miami that the
money was for the
electoral campaign of
now President Cristina
Fernandez.
Argentine deputies and
senators strongly
condemned the affront
against the country, and
the veil of suspicion ó
plotted by the US
Department of Justice on
Argentina and the
president. ó
The Chamber of Deputies'
vice president, Patricia
Vaca Narvaja, said it is
decisive that Washington
fulfil Argentina's
request for extradition
of Antonini Wilson.
