AyA Water In A Bottle?
The Instituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AyA) - the water and sewer company - may soon begin to market bottled water, if a proposed law headed by legislator for the Partido Accesibilidad sin Exclusión (PASE), Oscar López, gets support from his fellow legislators.

The initiative is to create a bottling plant and marketing system for water by the AyA, which already has a brand name "Aguatica".

The legislator says that Costa Rica is a privileged country with respect to other countries in the hemisphere, as it has an endless natural resource.

The new product would be competition to bottle water bottlers and distributors in the country.
