Fidel Castro Receives Argentine
Journalist
Cuban President Fidel Castro
received Argentinean legislator
and journalist Miguel Bonasso on
Wednesday, and presented him
with the first of the new
addition of "Cien Horas con
Fidel (One Hundred Hours with
Fidel)" by Ignacio Ramonet.
Tonight´s Roundtable broadcast
displayed photographs of the
friendly meeting between the
Cuban statesman and Bonasso, who
is attending the 14th Non
Aligned Movement Summit as the
personal representative of
President Nestor Kirchner.
Fidel Castro explained the
energy revolution taking place
in the country to Bonasso, as
well as about the many hours he
spent revising the Ramonet book
while he was recuperating his
health.
The prominent writer expressed
his satisfaction at finding the
president recovered from his
recent surgery, and gave him a
travel briefcase as a sign that
he will continue around the
world with Cuba´s truth.
Bonasso, who is also chair of
the House Natural Resources and
Environment Committee in the
Argentine Legislature, will
attend the Group of 15 Summit
that is meeting tomorrow in
Havana.
