Central America Opens Air Space
The presidents of Guatemala, El
Salvador, Nicaragua, and
Honduras will sign an agreement
to get rid of their air borders,
press sources informed
Wednesday.
Hondura's La Prensa daily online
reported that the presidents
will meet on October 4 in
Tegucigalpa to authenticate
direct flights among their
jurisdictions, without migratory
procedures.
The presidential meeting will
also discuss the widespread
violence in the region, and try
to seek solutions for security
problems arising from gangs,
drug trafficking, and organized
crime.
