FMLN Denounces Extermination
Groups
The Farabundo Marti National
Liberation Front (FMLN) of El
Salvador denounced the existence
of unofficial groups attempting
on young people´s lives.
FMLN deputy Herbeth Amaya,
representative of Justice and
Human Rights Commission,
reported that the existence of
these troops has been detected
in several departments of the
nation.
The director of the National
Civil Police, Rodrigo Avila, and
the General District Attorney of
the Republic, Felix Garrid Safie,
were called to inform about the
existence of extermination
groups in the institution.
Amaya reported that as a
parliamentary group, it will
intensify pressure so
authorities investigate and give
results about those
investigations.
She said the initiative was
taken after the visit the Public
Defense of Human Rights,
Beatrice de Carrillo, paid to
the Commission.
