Indigenous to Honour Che Guevara
Indigenous leaders from Bolivia,
Colombia, Ecuador and Peru will
honour Ernesto Che Guevara in
this city on October 8, on
occasion of the 39th anniversary
of his death in battle,
President Evo Morales said.
The statesman made the
announcement at a Saturday
meeting where he delivered a
group of computers to dozens of
junior high schools in Omasuyos,
La Paz.
Among attendees will be the
Confederation of Peoples from
Kichwa Nationality in Ecuador,
the National Confederation of
Communities from Peru Affected
by Mining, and the National
Indigenous Organization of
Colombia.
