Panama Poisoned Medicine Kills
More
Mortal victims of poisoned
medicine consumption rose to 24
while criticism against
Panamanian Health authorities
increases.
Another two people died in the
last day while hospitalized
patients went from 34 to 39.
Investigations confirmed traces
of an industrial substance
called Diethylene Glycol in four
medicines elaborated by the
Safe-Deposit Box (SDB)
laboratories.
For this reason the Health
Ministry called to stop
consuming 14 medicines made by
SDB laboratories that were
already closed.
Politicians, unions, religious
people and members of civil
society are demanding a rapid
answer and punishment for all
the people to blame for this
situation.
