Nicaragua Polls: Ortega Sure Winner
Nicaraguan candidate to the presidency for the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) Daniel Ortega will win by a comfortable margin on November 5, according to polls of voters intention broadcast here Wednesday.

The poll sponsored by El Nuevo Diario (The New Daily News), the TV Channel 10, Time Radio and the Chamber of Commerce assured the Sandinist leader will obtain the 37.5 percent of votes necessary and 17.39 of advantage over his closer rival.

Despite leading previous polls Ortega has never exceeded the 35 percent, nor even had 5 points advantage over second place, which are the minimum conditions to declare him Nicaragua winner.

The FSLN will also win deputy elections with 37.3 percent follows by PLC (20.51 percent), the ALN (16.06), the MRS (14.03) and the AC with 2.72 percent.
