Exposition on Fidel Castro Opens
Pioneers Congress
A photo exhibit of meetings of
Cuban President Fidel Castro
with children and adolescents
opened the sessions of the 4th
Congress of the Jose Marti
Pioneers Organization (OPJM)
which works in commissions
Saturday.
This photo exhibit is our best
beginning, and the greatest
homage we can give Fidel Castro,
said Miriam Yanet Martin,
president of OPJM, during the
first official activity of the
meeting.
The photo exhibit shows moments
of the intense relation of OPJM
and the Cuban President, who
left power temporality on July
31 on his brother Raul Castro,
First Vice President of Cuba.
Gregorio Hernandez, OPJM
president in the Cuban western
province of Pinar del Rio,
considered that the exposition
was an excellent initiative to
start the works of the Congress,
for the incentive that Fidel's
work and example represent for
Cuban children.
