Honduran Officers Linked to Crime
Honduras´ General Direction of Criminal Investigation dismantled a group of criminals headed by an active police agent, confirmed an official communiqué on Wednesday.

Under the commands of Officer Oscar Vallecillo and made up by several ex-police agents, the group was arrested after breaking and entering a house.

To execute the act, the perpetrators used the uniform of the investigation organism but there were caught by the owners of the house who were out and surprised because of the presence of cars without license plate.

According to the local media, many are the officers, police chiefs and drivers involved in this type of illegal acts.

There have been multiple cases of police agents related to the organized crime and drug-trafficking in the Honduran history what has caused failure of most of operations against that phenomenon.
