Miller Left Out
The national soccer team today
heads for the 2006 World Cup in
Germany, but without defender
Roy Miller who was the unlucky
player as Costa Rica confirmed
their final 23-man squad for the
World Cup finals on Monday.
Costa Rica had named a 24-man
squad on May 1 and the
federation confirmed on its
official website Monday that the
Norwegian-based player had been
cut by coach Alexandre Guimaraes.
Costa Rica, who will be playing
at their third World Cup, face
Ecuador, Poland and hosts
Germany in their first-round
group.
