Nicaragua to Fete Sandinistas
Around 30 people from 16
countries will attend
celebrations for the 27th
Anniversary of the Overthrow of
Somoza´s Nicaraguan tyranny, the
secretary of the National
Liberation Sandinista Front
Communication (FSLN) reported on
Friday.
The Secretary of Foreign
Relations of Brazil Workers
Party and the Sao Paulo Forum
Executive Secretary, Water Pomar
will be invited guests.
The Bolivian capital mayor Juan
del Granado and the Cuba
National Assembly vice-president
Jaime Crombet will also arrive
in Managua.
Other left political parties of
Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, El
Salvador, Honduras, Dominican
Republic, Puerto Rico, Uruguay,
Costa Rica, Chile and Panama
will also be represented.
The program includes celebration
of an international seminar
about direct democracy to be
held July 17 and 18 in a Managua
hotel.
A rally for the triumph of the
Sandinista revolution on July 19
will be closed by Sandinista
leader Daniel Ortega.
