Gas Hike in Effect
As announced last week, the
Autoridad Reguladora de los
Servicios Públicos (Aresep)
approved a hike in the price of
regular and super gasolines of
¢12 colones per litre.
The notice was published in
yesterday's edition of the
official government publication,
La Gaceta, and went into effect
at the stroke of 12:01 this
morning.
The new prices at the gas pumps
are as follows: a litre of
super now costs ¢516, up from
¢504; and a litre of regular now
costs
¢486 up from ¢474.
Diesel prices are not changed.
