Jamaica to Play Friendly Against
Costa Rica
Hernan Medford will make his
debut as manager of Costa Rica
when the Ticos play Jan. 31 or
Feb. 4 against Jamaica, which
will play its first game under
new coach Bora Milutinovic.
The match in Kingston was
announced Tuesday by Costa Rican
soccer federation vice president
Victor Alfaro in a media
release.
The match will be preparation
for the Ticos, who play in the
Central American Nations Cup in
El Salvador Feb. 8-18.
Medford assumed the reigns of
the Ticos on Oct. 31, replacing
Alexandre Guimaraes, who
resigned following the World Cup
in Germany.
