Venezuela to Host Film Festival
Venezuela will host the 2nd
Ibero-American Full-Length Film
Festival September 12-19, with
the exhibit of 14 films from 11
nations.
Ariana Arzua, member of the
organizing committee, confirmed
the participation of outstanding
filmmakers from Spain and Latin
America, who will exchange with
the audience in Film Forums.
National Cinematheque´s centers
nationwide will repeat playing
of films from Mexico, Brazil,
Spain, Colombia, Argentina,
Peru, Cuba, Bolivia, Guatemala,
Chile and the host country.
The opening will take place
September 12 with the showing of
the Spanish-Cuban co production
"La edad de la peseta" by Pavel
Giroud at the capital´s Teatro
Teresa Carreno Theater.
The public will stand as the
jury to award the best films
