Costa Rica: Respect for Cuban
Sovereignty
Carlos Morales, one of the most
outstanding Costa Rican
journalists Tuesday asserted
that "free men have the
obligation to be with Cuba" to
face the hostile plans by the US
President George W. Bush.
Costa Rica´s Journalism School
former President also joined the
proclamation demanding respect
to Cuba's sovereignty signed by
important personages worldwide
and acceded to be interviewed by
Prensa Latina.
The heroic defense of
sovereignty showed by the Cuban
people since 1959 is a unique
example in the contemporary
history of our America said
Morales who condemned the US
plans for a democratic
transition in the Caribbean
island.
The outstanding Costa Rican
journalist joined his sign to
those by nearly 13,000
intellectuals from more than 100
nations supporting the
proclamation "Cuba's sovereignty
must be respected".
