Bus Strike Around The Corner If
No Solution Found To The
Handicap Ramp Problem
More than 500 operators of
public bus services meet
yesterday in Heredia to talk
about the Sala IV decision to
reject the reforms to Ley 7600
that would have extended the
time to install handicap ramps
on all public buses.
20% of Police Force Over 50
It seems that age is no criteria
for being a cop. In once case in
Guápiles, Pococí, 72 year old
Vicente Álvarez Arias, shows up
for duty every day. And in
Liberia, Guanacaste, 62 year old
Fuerza Pública official Claudio
Díaz, who is also a diabetic and
back problems and can't stand
for long period of time or walk
much, is manning the post.
Investment in Special Services

foreign investment in the
special services sector, which
is based on knowledge and
professional skills.

Grew in 16 years
