Indian Museum
In the Indian community of
Boruca, in southern Costa Rica,
the residents of the reserve
made a dream come true after 11
years of struggle to establish a
museum.
The tradition in
handcrafts inherited from their
forefathers is proudly displayed
by today's Borucas, one of the
domestic indigenous people who
have preserved pre-Columbian
traditions, such as weaving
their own cloth.
The Boruca
Community Museum, in Buenos
Aires, is housed in a structure
built according to tradition
also.
