Nicaragua, Panama Clinching FTA
Nicaragua and Panama are
resuming Friday in Managua
negotiations to seal a bilateral
Free Trade Agreement.
Thursday, after a first round of
rapprochement, both delegations
expressed willingness to ink the
deal today.
Nicaragua wishes to introduce
beef, tomato sauce, onions and
cheese in Panama, which offers
notebooks and matches. The
latter also wants access to
insurance and reinsurance
business.
After, today´s talks, Panama has
scheduled to hold similar
encounters with the remaining
Central American nations.
