Cuba, Costa Rica Strengthen
Health Cooperation
Cuba and Costa Rica have reached
an agreement on health
cooperation in personnel
training and scientific
research.
The agreement was signed in San
José, on Oct. 4 by Jose Ramon
Balaguer, Cuban Minister of
Public Health, and his Costa
Rican counterpart, Maria del
Rocio Saenz, within the
framework of the Health
Ministerial Meeting of Spanish
and Portuguese-speaking
countries held in the same city.
Saenz noted that the agreement
will lay the foundations for
further health cooperation
between the two countries.
