Want to get away from Costa Rica
for a bit? Cartagena de Indias
is waiting for you.
The Caribbean vacation spot
located on the Colombian coast
is now offering Costa Ricans a
direct flight, airport
transfers, lodging and breakfast
for only ¢120.000 colones
(us$250).
The offer is being made as part
of the launching of
Destinostv.com, which has
available Thursday to Sunday and
Sunday to Thursday flights on
Taca arilines. The flight time
is only 1 hour and 15 minutes,
less time than what it takes to
go to Jacó beach.
Cartagena is a colonial city
preserved in time, protected by
a immense concrete wall build by
the Spaniards against pirate
attacks.
The old city is contrasted by
the modern city with 19
kilometres of beach and
skyscraper hotels all fronting
on the Caribbean sea.
José Cortés, director of
Destinostv.com, says the offer
is for the next three months,
the low season, and available
through a promotion in
conjunction with the daily
Spanish language newspaper
Diario Extra.
Callers can call 289 0707
between the hours of 8am and 12
midnight to book a flight.
