Fifth Body Recovered in Plane Crash
The sky, the sea and William Slattery are the only witness to what happened on Tuesday when the small Cessna airplane crashed into the sea leaving Slattery the only survivor of six people on board.

Yesterday's find of the fifth body, that of Jean Roman, on the shores of Punta Mala, Esterillos, authorities ended their search and rescue efforts since pulling Slattery out of the water on Wednesday.

What is left now is for investigators to put together the pieces of what happened. Aviación Civil investigators believe bad weather may have been the cause of the crash, though are not discounting other possible causes.

The Cessna 206, which went down on Tuesday with six people on board, was owned by Milt Burton, a Canadian-born skydiver who had worked as a Hollywood stuntman. He died in the crash.

The bodies of Costa Rican pilot Jorge Melendez; U.S. citizen James Simplicio; and Emmanuel Sanchez, a U.S. resident of Mexican origin were all recovered on Thursday and Friday.

This week's crash is the second crash of a small plane in less than a week. A week ago Friday a small Cessna crashed into a mountain peak near Puriscal, killing all three on board.
