Costa Rica To Face Korea in Friendly

Costa Rica will face South Korea in a friendly in February as part of their World Cup preparations.

The two teams will meet in San Francisco, USA, on February 11.

It is the game Costa Rica currently have scheduled ahead of the World Cup as a planned game against Ecuador was cancelled after the two countries were drawn together in Group A, alongside Germany and Poland.

Other games are expected as a spokesman for the Costa Rican FA said they were considering several offers.

Costa Rica's last game was a 3-2 defeat against France in Martinique.

South Korea will feature in Group G at next summer's World Cup, alongside France, Switzerland, and Togo.
