Tremor Shakes Nicaraguan Pacific
A 4.4 tremor (Richter scale) shook the Nicaraguan Pacific on Wednesday without leaving human victims or material damage.

According to the Nicaraguan Institute of Territorial Studies, the seism took place in the early afternoon (1:18 PM) 74 miles west of Managua.

Expert Mario Bodan said the phenomenon was registered at five miles deep and was related to the crash of the Cocos and Caribe tectonic plates.
