A Chinese delegation, led by
Customs Vice Minister Li Kenong,
verified the achievements in
Venezuelan customs modernization
thanks to the cooperation of the
Asian nation.
The press note from the
Integrated National Service of
Customs and Tariff
Administration (SENIAT) said
that Governor Jose Gregorio
Vielma explained several details
about the Venezuelan customs
reality to the visitors.
Vielma emphasized his country´s
interest in exchanging
information with the Chinese
authorities for a real fight
against smuggling and illicit
customs.
The top authority of Venezuela
customs and taxes noted that by
2006 all the border customs in
Venezuela will have special
inspection equipment

countries of the world are
facing the same problem of

China-Venezuela Mixed Commission
