Korea-Costa Rica Friendship
Group Established
The Korea-Costa Rica Friendship
Association was established in a
ceremony at the Holiday Inn in
central Seoul Monday, electing
Iljin Group chairman Huh Chin-kyu
as the inaugural chairman.
The ceremony was attended by
representatives of the
diplomatic offices of Latin
American countries, officials of
the Foreign Affairs and Trade
Ministry and leaders of the
media and corporate Korea.
The association was established
with the intention of helping to
improve relations between the
two countries which share
numerous geographical and
traditional similarities.
"We believe that the launching
of this association will help
promote economic exchanges and
trade between the two
countries,’’ said Huh.
