Cartago Was Beyond Expectations
This Year
There is no way of measuring the
number of faithful who visited
the Basilica in Cartago over the
weekend, however, organizers say
that it was beyond their
expectations. Some went as far
to say that almost 2 million
came from all over Costa Rica
and beyond.
“Guachimán”Arrested For Abusing
Minors
An undocumented Nicaraguan
national who was working as
"watchman" in Barrio El Cacique
de Aserrí (south of San José)
was arrested by police for
sexually abusing two minors aged
11 and 12.
Downtown San José Vehicle
Restrictions in Effect
If your license plate ends in 5
or 6, be reminded that you
cannot circulate the downtown
core of San José in the morning
and afternoon rush hours.
Tomorrow vehicles with license
plates ending in 7 or 8 will be
restricted and Friday 9 or 0.
