MyBookie.com Signs Exclusive
Deal with Warner Brothers
In what proves to be another
industry first, online gaming
company MyBookie.com, a leading
entertainment gaming company,
based in San José, has signed an
exclusive product placement
agreement with Warner Brothers
for the upcoming film 'Lucky
You,' starring Drew Barrymore.
The MyBookie.com website will be
prominently featured in the
film, as well as within the
storyline. The movie features a
college student who hits it big
online then turns his sights to
Las Vegas, where he tries to
beat the odds in a quest for the
world championship. Eric Bana,
Robert Duvall and Debra Messing
also star.
"This is definitely a first for
our industry, and we are
currently looking at a variety
of potential partnerships within
the television and music
industry," says Mike Nichols,
founder of MyBookie.com. "We see
our products really as an
extension of the entertainment
industry as a whole."
Given the long-term relationship
between Las Vegas and Hollywood,
this certainly seems like the
perfect fit.
