Valley
According to the Instituto
Meteorológico Nacional (weatherman) forecast, the solar eclipse for
tomorrow will not be visible in Costa Rica.
CONAVI Promises To Fix the Potholes
Without the approval of the
Contraloría General de la República (Comptroller's office), the Consejo
Nacional de Vialidad (Conavi) has promised to repair 770 kilometres of
road in six areas that have been without a maintenance contract for the
last three years.

Students Present Findings from Costa Rica
When sophomores Amanda Bostick, Kim Gillman and Mandi Morningstar
traveled to Costa Rica during the last week of their winter break, they
weren’t going to soak up the sun. Instead, they were caught in
torrential rains and flooding, they were put to work planting trees and
painting buildings and even worse, they had to do research.
