While more than a million students took advantage of the mid year school break than began yesterday, Joselyn Alvares and her other 1.299 schoolmates marched to Ministerio de Educación Pública to demand that the Education minister not close down their school, the 
Buenaventura Corrales, more known as the Metal School. The MEP decided to closed the building after major faults were found in the structure.
