OIJ agent paid ¢15,000 to have two women beaten “half dead”

September 3rd, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) An agent of the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) in San Carlos, Alajuela has been fired after attempting to pay a man ¢15,000 to assault two women and “leave them half dead.”

 

However, the man who the agent attempted to contract for the assault decided to inform the head of the OIJ delegation in San Carlos instead, who opened an investigation.

 

The agent, identified by the last name of Cerdas, was apparently upset after one of the women wanted to end their romantic relationship.

 

An investigation also revealed that Cerdas made threats against the husband of one of the women on Facebook.

 

So far, criminal charges have not been filed against the agent.

    Yesterday article about OIJ agent Páez who was caught stealing from his own co workers gets a vacation and pay!!

    Today Cerdas another OIJ agent paying to beat up a women ex lover. Supposedly fired Ha! He will go though a processes and get his job back most likely. Something tells me this agency is in free fall. Ethics, punishment and now no trust. He has not been charged criminally he should do prison time . I doubt it And these are the two we know about how many we do not.

    Costarracenses who do you trust anymore? President Laura Chinchilla is it time to do investigation into the OIJ from some outside internal affairs?? EH!

    Well, the good news is that a report to the OIJ boss didn’t result in a coverup, so maybe the problems aren’t systemic and the agency is salvageable. Let’s hope so.
