July 8th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Agents of the Drug Control Police (PCD) seized 100 kilograms of cocaine that were discovered in a hidden compartment of a shipping container that was deliver to the Moin port on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast. The discovery was made on Saturday.
The drugs were apparently discovered in the sidewalls of the container, consisting of 100 packages. The container arrived from Colombia and was supposed to be empty.
The cocaine was sent by air to San José on Sunday morning. The seizure adds to the 310 kilos of cocaine that authorities seized from a speedboat on Saturday in Quepos, on Costa Rica’ Pacific coast.
