Two Killed, Seven
Injured During Riot in
Panama Jail
Two prisoners were
killed and seven people
injured in a riot in a
Panamanian prison on
Tuesday.
The Panamanian police
said the riot occurred
in a prison 350 km west
of the capital Panama
City and the situation
was under control after
the riot squad used tear
shells.
Two inmates, who were in
their 20s, were killed
during the riot. Police
said the two were
indicted for crimes
related to drug
trafficking, therefore
they did not rule out
the possibility that the
riot was related to

The police have
