Venezuela Fingers US Aggression
Assembly deputy Saul Ortega indicated that US intentions to include Venezuela on its list of State Sponsors of Terrorism is an excuse to maintain aggression against the country.

Ortega, president of the Commission of Foreign Policy of the National Assembly told media that Washington aims to corner the country to satisfy its oil interests and provide a target for its military industrial complex.

Adjectives such as the ones used by President George W. Bush against Caracas serve "to justify the infamous actions of preventive anti terrorist war that we all know," the legislator pointed out..

He added that Venezuela "has the largest oil reserves in the continent and they (US) constantly provoke, attack and plant hypotheses of conflict either directly or through their secondary actors such as Colombia." "The people must be forewarned that these aggressions will continue, we had not concluded the legal case against the transnational, Exxon Mobil, when attempts were made to damage the prestige of Venezuela," he concluded.
