Imagine losing a watch worth ¢25 million colones (us$48.000) and at the San José airport? That is exactly what happened to someone passing through the Juan Santamaría international airport and thanks to two honest police officials at the airport gave Costa Rica a good name.

The story is that an American living in Costa Rica took off her watch to pass through the metal detectors at the airport and forgot to pick it up after the inspection.

When official noticed that the lady had left behind her Vacheron Constantin Swiss watch, they immediately reported it to the airport's lost and found, according to Steve Madden on fthe Policía Aeroportuaria (airport police).

One of the woman's bodyguards made the complaint to recover the watch, which to his surprise and the relief of the owner of the watch, it fell in the hands of two honest people.

Vacheron Constantin, the world's oldest watchmaker since 1755. They say that to have a Vacheron Constantin watch is almost the same as having a Rolls Royce. Why? Because you can absolutely be confident about the quality, it is very prestigious and extremely expensive.
