500.000 In San José
Without Water Sunday
The Instituto
Costarricense de
Electricidad (ICE) and
Acueductos y
Alcantarillados (AyA)
announced that they will
be suspending water
service to some 500.000
people in the San José
area for most of Sunday
15 June, beginning in
the morning and lasting
well into the afternoon.
The suspension of the
service is to allow work
crews to carry out
preventive maintenance
to the El Llano dam in
the Orosi valley.
ICE and AyA officials
say the areas affected
are San José, La unión,
Curridabat, Desamparados,
Montes de Oca (San
Pedro), Goicoechea,
Moravia and Coronado. |
