Banco Nacional Spends ¢26 Million On Ties
The next  time you visit a branch of the Banco Nacional (BN) it will be difficult to spot a customer service agent (teller) without a tie, as the state bank has spent some ¢26 million colones (us$47.000 dollars) in purchasing 4.545 ties for 1.515 bank employees.

The objective of the bank is for its employees to be properly dressed and present a uniform look for its clients.

Since the Banco Nacional is a state bank, the details of the contract that was awarded to Corbatas S.A. were published in the official government publication, La Gaceta, of May 12, 2008.
